This Old Dutchwest stove gasket kit is exactly what you need to restore efficiency to your Vermont Castings wood stove. We include an assortment of wood stove gasket sizes for your convenience. They bond to most materials and easily conform to the corners of the door gasket channel. Graphite-impregnated fiberglass rope gaskets will help create a better seal in the door of your stove, preventing air leaks that reduce its operating efficiency. Made of non-asbestos materials that will not absorb water and mildew and resists fraying and unraveling when cut. These high temperature gaskets can withstand temperatures up to 1000°F

  • To use:
Remove old gasket. Thoroughly clean the area. Use wood stove gasket cement to attach the new seal.

  • Adhesive:
We recommend Wood Stove Gasket Cement to adhere the gasket to your stove or insert. This product is used not only as the "glue" that holds the gasket in place, but it can also be used to seal minor cracks and pin holes in the stove body.

It is not recommended that you use a sealant as an adhesive. High temperature silicone and sealants are not meant to be used as an adhesive or to fix your stove or insert.
