Glass Needs To Be Cut To A Pattern?

Glass that needs to be cut to a pattern most likely means that you need a pyroceram glass sheet for your heating application.

Due to the way tempered glass is made for fireplace doors, it cannot be cut (or re-cut) into shapes. Tempered glass comes in a standard rectangle shape. If your existing glass door resembles any of the following, you will need a ceramic replacement glass:

• arched top
• round or curved edges
• non-square angles
• notches on the sides
• beveled edges on the front
• grooves, indents, or holes
•
