This is a custom made, standard rectangle cut ceramic glass that is suitable for most pellet, wood, and coal stoves or inserts (up to 36"). This amber transparent ceramic material is ideal for high temperature applications.

If you're looking for a specialty cut - arched, clipped corners, etc - please check out our large selection of different cut patterns.

Please use a metal tape measure to measure for your piece of glass. Use the diagram above to know exactly what measurements we need to correctly cut your glass. When heated, this pyroceram glass can expand, so make sure to allow a 1/8" accommodation for this occurrence when measuring.

Because flames will contact the glass periodically, this product has been manufactured to resist breaking against extreme temperature changes (thermal shock). Ceramic glass can withstand up tp three times the heat of tempered glass.

Ceramic Glass Tips, Tricks & Recommendation:
  • Glass expands when heated! Please request your cut of glass to be at least 1/8" shy of the mounting surface. This measurement will allow for a safe thermal expansion. We cannot be held responsible for breaks due to improper calculations!
    • If your original ceramic glass sheet is still intact and you are able to obtain all of the dimensions needed for your rectangle custom cut product, you may use the glass for measuring purposes. However, we highly recommend double checking your measurements against the mounting surface for 100% accuracy.
  • Metal screws and mounting hardware also expand when exposed to high temperatures! To avoid damage to your glass when your appliance is in use, please do not over-tighten hardware. We cannot be held responsible for breaks due to hardware that has been secured too firmly.
  • Please submit any additional information, questions, or concerns you may have about your online glass request to the "Notes" box on this product page.
  • For your safety, please do not replace tempered glass with a ceramic option on a fireplace door! This results in overheating and a potential fire (not the kind you enjoy in your stove)! Some masonry doors are APPROVED for ceramic glass doors. Please check with your appliance's owner manual for details on masonry door replacement glass.
  • Ceramic glass should NEVER be installed on a factory-built fireplace or prefab unit unless it is heater rated. Unfortunately, this can also result in overheating and a potential house fire.

I have a Malm Imperial Carousel wood burning fireplace but no glass. Needs 8 rectangle panels plus a door. Factory lists the 8 panels as 14.5" x 10" x 3/16". They have polished edges since three of the sides are exposed. Can you also polish the edges?

I am looking to replace the class doors on a 3 sided wood burning fireplace that has a gas line to start the wood. I believe that the current glass is a ceramic glass for extreme heat tolerance. Would this be a suitable replacement?

I have a Heat and Glow gas fireplace insert. They used to offer a ceramic glass refractory liner to allow the fire to reflect from the back and sides. They no longer make it. Could this glass be applied to the back and sides to reflect the fire?

Can this glass be used on a natural gas stove? Mine is a Dovre DV400s. It calls for a ceramic glass in the manual to replace the one it came with. Only reason I ask is because your site says to only use on coal, wood, and pellet stoves.

This is to replace the inner piece of an electric oven glass window baffle (there are multiple pieces in the baffle, but this is the inner most piece which is exposed to the direct heat). The current piece is also slightly reflective / amber tinted on one side. Transparent pyroceram with the following number printed on it: 207740

I have a fireplace with an inserted firebox, around which air flows. But it's not a furnace or stove. Which replacement glass do I need, the one rated for 1380 degrees, or 400 degrees? The last glass piece shattered when the fireplace was running very hot AND a piece of log was leaning against the glass. Thoughts? Thanks.

Needed to replace glass from a 20+ year old Sweet Home wood burning stove. Glad I discovered FastReplacement. My custom cut glass fits perfectly. Even gentely rounded the corners as I requested.
I purchased an older home with a gas Vermont castings stove. I have never used it because the glass was cracked. After several years, I decided to restore the firebox and get it into working order. After several months, the glass was the only thing left to fix. I looked around for a bit and this was by far the best price I have found. I carefully measured what I had and made my purchase. The glass arrived in two days after ordering, and very well packaged. The measurements were perfect. You can not find a better product for the price. Thank you, Manny.
Thank you ever so much for getting this in queue so quickly and shipped today! Tho we are only in California, we are in the Northern region with temps very low. Our sole source of heat is a very old wood stove (that heats the house great), but with a crack in the glass on door, we cannot regulate the heat due to too much air getting inside.

Bless you all and all the best Wintry Wishes
Thank you for filling my order. The new glass fits perfect.
I really didn't even measure: Just told them what type of wood stove. Perfect fit, quickly shipped, and at about half the price of what I've paid in the past for glass for other stoves.
The [ceramic rectangle cut] glass for my wood burning stove was the perfect fit. It arrived fast; sooner than I expected!
Unbelievable! I got my replacement glass in 36 hours! I would have been pleased even if it took a week, but 36 hours - well, what can I say but THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I thought I was out of luck and would have to buy a new stove when the glass on mine cracked since its no longer manufactured. Luckily i found out that i could have it custom cut. Lead time was 5 days but it shipped out in just 2! And arrived super quick. Measurements were spot on can't wait to fire the stove up again
Customer service, quality of the product, and website experience were all GREAT! Highly recommend this company. My son busted one of the panes in our gas fireplace and Fast Replacement Glass was easy to work with and very convenient! Product arrived exactly as I ordered and for a very reasonable price! Thank you!!!
When my wood stove glass broke for my door I didn't know much about what type of glass I needed so that It would not break again. I thought I could just get normal tempered glass, buy when I called they told me that because of the high heat I was going to need ceramic glass. The price was just right at 50$ for my piece of glass and there sales people were very nice and even recommended some gasketing. Saved me a trip to go get it. glass came fast and was cut exactly the way I ordered it.
