The 6 by 7 inch mica glass sheet can be used on antique wood stoves, furnaces, and older coal stoves. The 0.003 - 0.005 inch thick, transparent material can withstand temperatures up to 1800° F and is easy to cut to size with scissors if you need to make it fit in your stove window. Also known as isinglass, this natural silicate mineral is surprisingly strong and resilient!
Please Note: This is the only size available; if you need to cover a larger area, you will need to piece multiple mica glass panels together.
Isinglass is a thin, transparent sheet of mica which is a silicate mineral.
