The purpose of the room temperature sensor in a pellet stove is to send the temperature of the room to the stove's control system, which is then used to regulate the stove's heat output. In case the room temperature falls below the desired temperature, the stove will increase its heat output to warm up the room, while in case the room temperature rises above the desired temperature, the stove will reduce its heat output to maintain the desired temperature. Have a warm and safe winter by replacing your stove safety sensor.
