Always install the correct ESP probe in your pellet stove to regulate the combustion process for maximum efficiency, clean burning, and safety. The ESP (exhaust sensing probe) works by calculating the temperature and oxygen content of the exhaust gases. To modify the air-fuel ratio of the pellet stove, the ESP transmits a signal to the control board of the pellet stove. ESP monitors and adjusts heat output to maintain set room temperatures within 1 degree. Harman pellet stoves utilize an advanced Exhaust Sensing Probe (ESP) system to carry precision heating control.
