Important Note:

Not for Extreme Heat Applications: Do not use tempered glass in wood stoves, inserts, coal stoves, inserts, pellet stoves, inserts, or cooktops. For these applications, ceramic replacement glass is recommended due to extreme heat conditions.

No Grooves or Bevel Edging: We do not cut grooves into the glass or offer bevel edging, as these additional cuts may compromise the glass strength.

Lead Time:

• Due to the tempering process, the lead time is estimated at 10 business days. All glass edges are sanded down to a seamed finish for safety.

Installation Tips and Recommendations:

• Allow for Thermal Expansion: Request your glass at least 1/8" shy of the mounting surface to accommodate thermal expansion.
• Metal Hardware Caution: Metal screws and mounting hardware will expand when heated; avoid over-tightening to prevent glass breakage.
• Measurement Accuracy: Double-check measurements against the mounting surface for accuracy, especially when replacing original tempered glass.
• Flame Distance: Keep flames and logs at least 6 inches away from the glass to prevent shattering.
