Installation:
- Remove the old gasket from the door channel and scrape away any remaining material.
- Clean the channel thoroughly to remove old adhesive, ash, and debris.
- Apply gasket cement in a thin, even bead along the channel. Use a stove gasket adhesive such as AW Perkins Gasket Adhesive.
- Press the new gasket into place without stretching it.
- Trim any excess gasket so the ends meet neatly.
- Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions before using the stove.
Note: Do not use high-temperature silicone as a gasket adhesive. It is not designed for securing stove gaskets.
