Surdiac Coal Stove Parts
Prominent during the late 1970s to early 1980s, Belgium-made Surdiac Stoves were known for their ornate appearance. These high quality, coal burning convection-type stoves burned at 84% efficiency. The most popular stoves were the hopper-fed Gotha series (513 and 713 models). As oil prices decreased, the Surdiac company suffered. Eventually, the Jotul company took over. However, production of the coal stove line was completely retired by the end of the 1990s.
