Restore the performance of your Jotul wood stove with this 5/8" Black Graphite Fiberglass Door Rope Gasket Kit. Designed to replace worn or compressed door seals, this graphite-infregnated fiberglass gasket helps maintain an airtight seal for improved stove efficiency and burn control. Its flexible construction conforms to curved door channels while resisting fraying during normal use. Choose either clear gasket adhesive or stove gasket cement to complete your installation.

Important Information:
For best results, remove all old gasket material and thoroughly clean the gasket channel before installation. Fast Replacement Glass gasket adhesive or stove gasket cement is recommended for securing the gasket. Do not use high-temperature silicone sealants for gasket installation or stove repairs.

Installation:
- Remove the stove glass and old gasket.
- Clean the edge of the glass and the mounting surfaces thoroughly.
- Fit the gasket evenly around the edge of the glass.
- Reinstall the glass and tighten the retainers carefully.
- Check that the gasket provides an even seal around the entire perimeter.
Note: Do not overtighten the glass retainers. The glass should be held securely while still allowing for normal thermal expansion during stove operation.
