Martin Industries Replacement Parts
Martin Industries (Florence, AL) has its roots in the early 1900s when two brothers, W.H. Martin Sr. and Charles Martin, established a foundry they called King Stove and Range Company. Coal and wood heaters, including cooking stoves and ranges were made here. As the business expanded, they kept it separate from their other endeavours, which achieved great success over the following decades.
The need for additional space led to another expansion, and the acquirement of a couple of different manufacturing plants in Georgia. In 1978, Martin Industries began the production of Ashley heaters. A decade later, Martin Industries sold its original Florence, AL foundry to a handful of former employees, and meanwhile purchased the wood and gas divisions of Atlanta Stove Works. The company enjoyed ongoing success until the turn of the century, when it sold the Ashley line to United States Stove Company and consolidated several of its manufacturing operations.
