Leave approximately 1/8 inch of clearance between the glass and mounting surface to allow for thermal expansion during operation. If your original glass is intact, it can be used as a measuring reference, but measuring the mounting opening is recommended for the most accurate fit.
Do not overtighten retaining hardware during installation, as metal components also expand with heat and excessive pressure can damage the ceramic glass.
