Some older P2700 units will not work with this blower. The mounting plate measures 4′′ X 4 3/8′′. The Distribution Convection Room Blower fulfills two functions. The stove provides heat to the room by circulating the room air through the heat exchanger, and this process also keeps the stove from overheating. If your stove displays an overheat error code OR if the room blower remains on at startup and does not feed pellets, your room blower has either stopped working OR the blower wheel inside the housing of this blower needs to be cleaned out so that it can freely move enough air to keep the stove from overheating. Note: An adapter plate A-MP-KIT is required if you have an older Breckwell stove with mounting plate dimensions of 5" x 5 1/2". When replacing a room blower, part C-E-090-21 is recommended that the high limit safety snap disc switch be replaced.
