Our Castable Fire Brick is ideal for repairing larger areas of damaged masonry. The 12.5 pound bucket of refractory fire brick cement is just the right size to mold up to a 12 x 12 x 1.5 inch square. Our high temperature cement mix holds its shapes during the setting process so you can work vertically on overhead brickwork, horizontally at the base, or even cast into any shape. Try using this indoor-outdoor rate material to create solid floors for fire pits or ovens! This dry-mix formula reaches a full cure in 24 hours - no heat required - and will then withstand temperatures up to 2200°F. The non-water soluble refractory cement is tan-gray in color to blend in with fireplace masonry, and can be painted over if desired.
