Description

Repair the seal on your heating appliance with our precut 3/4 inch x 7 feet fiberglass rope gasket. Over time, wood stove gaskets tend to break down from normal wear and tear, hindering the performance of your stove. This affordable, high quality replacement gasket is made from graphite impregnated fiberglass for unparalleled durability and will bond to most materials. The rope design allows maximum flexibility for easy installation and coverage around channel corners to ensure that you have an airtight seal in your stove once again! Our wood stove gasket is guaranteed to resist water absorption and mildew, and withstand temperatures up to 1000°F.

  • To use:
Remove old gasket. Thoroughly clean the area. Use Wood Stove Gasket Cement to attach the new seal.

  • Adhesive:
We recommend the Wood Stove Gasket Cement to adhere the gasket to your stove or insert. This product is used not only as the "glue" that holds the gasket in place, but it can also be used to seal minor cracks and pin holes in the stove body.

It is not recommended that you use a sealant as an adhesive. High temperature silicone and sealants are not meant to be used as an adhesive or to fix your stove or insert.
